Main Article Content
Abstract
This study aims to investigate the relationship of TikTok on parenting style and their marital relationship. A sample of 10 students both male and female (5 males and 5 females) from the city of Faisalabad aged 18-25 years, were selected for qualitative research study. We interviewed the children to differentiate the behavior of their parents before and after using TikTok using semi-structured interviews to check the impact whether it is positive or negative. The outcomes show that TikTok causes challenges like reduced communication and occasional conflicts. The participants reported both positive and negative outcomes such as better entertainment and negative effects including stress and strained relationships. The study highlights the need to balance social media use to support healthy family dynamics. Limitations include a small sample size and subject platform-specific data.
