This article investigates the dynamics of Afghan-China relations and their implications for Afghanistan's economic development. It analyzes the historical context of diplomatic ties between the two countries and how these relationships have evolved, particularly in the wake of significant geopolitical changes. The study highlights key areas of cooperation, including trade, investment, and infrastructure development, emphasizing China's role as a crucial partner in Afghanistan’s efforts to revitalize its economy. By examining projects such as the China-Afghanistan railway and initiatives under the Belt and Road Initiative, the article assesses the potential benefits and challenges posed by increased Chinese engagement. Additionally, it considers the socio-political implications of this partnership, including issues of sovereignty, dependency, and regional stability. Ultimately, the findings suggest that while Afghan-China relations hold promise for economic growth, careful management is necessary to ensure sustainable development and address potential risks associated with reliance on foreign investment.
